This course, approved by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, is intended for agricultural pesticide applicators who are looking to become certified as commercial or public applicators of restricted-use pesticides to control natural areas. During the lesson, we outline various invasive weeds in natural areas and explain how an applicator should treat natural regions while considering wildlife and the environment.

At the end of this course, students will be able to:

• Identify which equipment and pesticide product should be used in each application.
• Identify various applications in natural areas.
